Labor Day on the Glorious Little Missouri River — Video Dispatch

Clay on the banks of the Little Missouri River in the North Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park, North Dakota.

I visited the Little Missouri River in the Badlands of North Dakota over the Labor Day weekend. Of all the rivers I know, the Little Missouri is the most sacred to me. I have walked the length of it twice, once during the hottest year in modern North Dakota history. My daughter was baptized in the Little Missouri.
